The old vines are pulled out and burned.<br \/>\nThe soil is plowed for a winter rest. In the spring, the land is leveled and prepared for the future planting.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"moz-quote-pre\">Why are the vines pulled out?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"moz-quote-pre\">The objective is to provide the best conditions for the new vines. These have been scrupulously selected by our nurseryman.<br \/>\nThe rootstock is adapted to our limestone soil of great champagne. The grape variety is defined by the specifications of our designation. The planting is now mechanical. Thanks to a GPS connection, the regularity of the rows can be quickly defined.<br \/>\nThis saves time for the winegrower and their team. As after any planting, we hope for a rain shower to optimise the recovery.<br \/>\nPatience is required, we will have to take great care of these new vines for 3 years, before the first harvest and then 5 more years for our future VSOP Cognac.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le vignoble est renouvel\u00e9  peu \u00e0 peu.
